Think I will clearcoat the body and paint the frame.

what you are doing is exactly what I want to do. I just bought a 1952 F6 dump truck. I have so many questions. How difficult was it to modify the Dana 70 to attach to the frame / drive shaft. Are you still planning to use a 4 speed transmission? Have you been able to drive it yet? If so, how’s the performance? Can you give more detail to the modifications of the front axel? What have you done for suspension? Lots of pictures please.

You have o first make a build thread in the forum below. Then copy that address, or URL, then come up to this thread and paste that build thread link or address here.

Technically you do not have to "start" an official build thread on this particular Thread (Member Build Treads). Just jump right in on the 1948-1956 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks and start from there. Title the new tread "1956 F500 flatbed" or something like that. Then just start sharing your story and what you plan to do with your truck. Also share as many pictures as you can. Guys on here like pictures. LOL Any time you have updates or questions be sure you post them on that thread so you have them all together. Good luck.
