New shock time!

The Pro Comps were decent shocks but they were too short and well, ugly haha

Went with Bilstein 5125, these are 20" collapsed and 34" extended, plenty long, infact I will have to get some limit straps now.

This required a couple of things, new upper and lower shock mounts.

I went with F250 uppers and of course I made custom lowers.

On another note, the new axle is MASSIVE! It makes my current 60 look like a 44 :haha
The tubes are 3.75" diameter, the knuckles are nearly 3" taller and much beefier and the u joints are 1550!

Holy hell, what an axle.

Work on the new axle continues!

Got all the brackets off, what a nightmare that was.
I still have some clean up to do on the center section where the radius arm mounts were part of the casting.

Also got the inner Cs cut cut and turned. Set the pinion at 14* and caster at 7*.
I'll be using adjustable camber/caster bushings to fine tune the alignment.

I thought you had lockers? the crawl in that last video would have been nothing. Actually pretty awesome how it can do so much WITHOUT lockers.

No lockers just yet, I have a locker for my new front axle that should go in next weekend though, that should be a game changer!
