Got the bushings in and painted the lower links.
I will get the shock tabs and heims Thursday or Friday and finish these up this weekend.

The shock lines up perfectly with the upper link of the radius arms.

Just to clarify one more time, those are replacement radius arms right? I agree with Bigzirb, you should market these.

Everything about them is custom...
I could put everything on paper but there are too many variables to market them.
It would be way too expensive too, they will be about $500 when they are done and that is just for materials!

They are way better than Duff's though! haha

Daaang $500.... that would be way too much haha, i will probably have to get some junkyard ones. I can't readily afford a new radius arm...

Today I welded the shock tabs on and put a coat of paint on the upper links.
Saturday I will finish these up and then take them off and hit them with 400 grit and one more coat of paint.

Very nice, and interesting design. I see why it would cost a lot. Haha, if i had any skill an imagination i would try to build some of these...

how long is your slip yoke gonna be on the shafts? with them links at that angle and drop abiliity your shafts will need LOTSA spline. what degree did you set your caster at?

Caster is set at 5* right now, I left some room for adjustment of the pinion if needed.
As for the front drive shaft I haven't measured yet, once I get the arms finished I can set the engine and trans in then get a good measurement on the shaft.
Kinda like how you measure for shocks, fully collapsed and fully extended.
Since the arms are longer than the drive shaft the arc should be pretty flat which means less spline needed.

So a slip yoke is the joint in the middle of our drivelines what allows the 2 ends to stretch longer or compress depending on the position of axle?

Also i don't think the straight axles have adjustable cambers do they? I know the ball joints can wear and the tires angle but i don't know of a camber adjustment.

The slip yoke is on the axle end f the drive shafts, and does exactly what you said.

Straight axles don't have camber or caster adjustments like an independent has.
That is why I built the arms like I did so I could adjust the caster if I need to.

i guess depending on the limiting strap you wouldnt have to much extension and compression of the front shaft. 18" slip should be pleanty.
