I cut my muffler off and dumped it out in front of my passenger rear tire...it's sooting up my wheels
Kurt
That's better than what my son did... he just cut it all off and let it discharge directly under the truck where the pipe ended at the muffler entrance point. Talking about sooting up... his entire underside from behind the cab is like the inside of a chimney. I won't even get under there to work on stuff with him (unless I absolutely have to).

Assuming that its on an angle get a piece of 45* exhaust pipe and stick on it facing forward, that was my solution to that problem. It pushes the soot just far away enough that you wont get any on your rim. If you need a picture here you go the first one is looking down at it from the side of the truck and the second one is kinda hard to see too.... for some reason I couldnt upload the other 2 pictures I took........

young and stupid...what can I say. At least I admit it. hahaha
Seriously though, I really wouldn't recommend it, as I said earlier. The soot is a major pain to deal with.

These kids today - with the piercings, the tats, the baggy pants, and the sooty undercarriages. Back in my day, all we had was "PONG"... and we liked it.

What? No whistle? I need to read back and see where I went astray. I want the exhaust tuned to chill the brack, leave some rumble, and let the whistle free.
