I have a 2005 F250 SD diesel. It decided to create a new behavior and I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction on where to start with fixing it.
When I hit the brakes it now turns the fog lights on and dims all of the lights on the instrument panel. I noticed that it did the same thing when I hit the right blinker and the panel flashes each time the light blinks. When I use the left blinker it does not do this. When it began doing this, I turned off the truck and fired it back up and the behavior went away for a while, then it began again.
Any ideas or thoughts on what this could be or where I should start is much appreciated.
The first thing I would do is take it by the store and get the battery and the charging system checked on one of their machines. Low voltage causes crazy things on the newer trucks.
