Recon Light ???
I have a set of Recon projector headlights for my 2008 F350, I bought the truck used and I noticed the daytime running light portion of one of the headlights was not working. I pulled the headlight out and found the wiring going to a circuit board (at least thats what I think it is) was burned as though it had shorted out, I called Recon and I got the solution of buying a new headlight. Now that I have rambled on, my question is if I could just splice the wires together bypassing this circuit board or would that be a bad idea?

No, I don't want to get rid of them. The drivers side is the side that has the wires and circuit board that look like it shorted and melted, and I was wondering if it was wise to try to splice the wires and bypass the circuit board since Recon does not sell a new wiring harness for the DRL's. I would like to get both sides of the lights working.
