map light malfuntion
I had a 2005 sc lariat 4x4. well when i was heading south towards california my over head map lights started to turn on and off by itself, until it became steady, i have to disconnet the battery for the night and brought it a nearest dealer.. they had my truck for 2 days.... it's kinda suck to stranded for 2 days without a car atleast.....on the bright side the ford dealer fix it really good, bad side is, the problem that occured was too hazardous at night co'z i can't see that much at night due to the shine of those lights..... did anybody had a problem like this on their truck?

They changed the instument panel?!?
Did the dome light do the same thing as the map lights?
Are the interior lights controlled by something in the instrument panel? Or are they controlled by the power lock system?
My map light did the same thing, along with my dome light. But, it did it twice and has not done it again. Both times were in the first week I had the truck.
