Long arms? I'm not that tall and I had no problem turning the wrench while watching for the pipe plug in the torque converter.

I have the same hole - years ago I had a solenoid replaced for the forward to reverse shifting issue. It was done under warranty at a large Ford dealership. I questioned the hole a few days after I got the truck back, and they told me it was necessary for the repair and that's how Ford want's them to do it....

It would greatly appreciate any information, I really need my transmission to not explode on me right now, I have a lot of driving to do.

Here's a gallery where there are some pictures, Hopefully someone can tell me what is the problem. It looks like there were threads, and some are left, but it looks like most are gone.

So I was passing a semi on the highway, heard a loud bang and my f350 started to lack power all I noticed was that hole closer to the center, did you find out what caused it?

A drill and a tap caused that hole. There are threads showing. It didn't happen from a failure, it was put there on purpose.

What all could cause the bang and lack of power, there's no smoke engine sounds fine, transmission still shifting just lacking power to get past 60 km h after I reach 60 km h the revs go from 2000 and 3000 and bounce back and forth

This is the 2nd 5R110W I have seen with a hole in that location.
The first was someone posting asking about it. It was done with a
chisel by the looks of things on that one.

On the Transmission I had die on me there is no hole and the same
for the one in the truck now No hole.

The hole is put there by a tech. It can be for 2 reasons. One is to aid in ensuring the torque converter snub is aligned with the engine crank and flush with the flexplate instead of just drawing it in tight with the nuts and hoping it's in all the way.
Second you can check for a rear main leak.
