When I was a wee sprite and going to the DMV for my very first license, it took 3 tries to get it. I failed the parallel parking test the 1st two times (I was driving my dad's 1970 Kingswood station wagon, a battleship sized car back in those days).

My story is an echo of that, it took me three tries as well.
I took my mom's '72 VW SuperBeetle with the automatic stick shift.
First flunk: Three-point turn? Don't need it with this turning radius!
Seconf flunk: 25MPH speed limit on blind intersections.
I guess I learned something along the way: I've had no accidents and very few tickets since then.
Sounds good. I have only had two accidents while driving, one when I was a teen driving my dad's 74 Dodge dart, and another while working as a patrol officer for a security company. The first one was kind of my fault, although upon investigation they did find a tie rod had broken causing me to hit the side of the canyon, however, if I was not driving like an idiot, I doubt it would have broken.
Second one was not my fault, I was hit by a person fleeing the scene of a failed robbery, who ran a red light. That one was the first time i damaged my right knee. The most recent accident, i was not even driving, but riding my bike, when I was hit by a guy in a minivan pulling out of a shopping center driveway without looking both ways. That one did even more damage to my right knee/lower leg
