My stable is down to two 1955 Ford Fairlanes. One's a Crown Vic and the other is a Town Sedan. Jag

Are not those things rare? Never heard of one with a diesel, but I know the 4x4 Econolines were made outside of Ford like the Shelby Mustangs, (and Saleens, and Roush) and the four door Broncos (made by Centuerion if I remember correctly, which would be a miracle these days.)

Sportsmobile and Quigley Conversions does 4X4 vans. You may be able to find a used one, but people that have em, keep em.

I guess depends, seen newer versions of them quigley off road does a nice version but hella pricey (13,000) just for the 4wd conversion and lift fits 35s. Saw a real awesome version of a 4x4 econo in diesel power magazine runnin military Goodyear 37s. He just threw on super duty axles and a transfer case. I think in the mean time I'll just keep it in mind got a lot to do on the F-250. Getting a plan together, got some ideas for parts etc.

Mine is a 1965 F100 bought new by my grandfather and passed down twice. Original 352 with some modes color changed from white to white and red.
