That's exactly right. It's nice to be paying on something I get to keep. The other bonus is that since this is our primary residence, I should be able to write off the loan interest.
We paid $19,500 for the rig back in 2001. It's been lived in for a total of about 7.5 years. If I get the $3k they are talking about, that's only $183 a month for the cost of the 5th wheel. Well worth it in my book. It has held up awesome and I've had to do very little to it considering the amount that it has been lived in full time.

Definitely a bonus. I do need to try and figure out what wattage the panel is rated for though. Its not something I'll need really often since it will be parked full time, but nice to keep things goin during power outages.
