Hey anybody got experience with heated seats....cough, cough..Jay? Des' went out again. We had the drivers seat heater replaced under warranty and it is not working again. Could it be shot already or something easy like a fuse? I will investigate while Alissa naps.

Could be a fuse. If not that then double check the connections by the seat next. After that is is likely a broken wire somewhere. Is the switch ok?

I know it seems slower because I want to leave but it is really extra slow.

Yep, switch is fine, wires are fine, seat heater element must be broken. I read on another forum that they go out a lot. So, I can order a replacement heater element and replace it..................this fall.

Dave says a broken wire is pretty common Cory. Not sure how easy it would be to determine which one but may be worth trying to fix that first.

YAY Mickey!!!!

Well it looks like Rock Auto has them for $70 w/ ship. That is for both but I am sure it is just the seat cushion not the seat back.

Maybe, but if the element wire is broken It would be easier to replace. I have been reading and most of them have a short in the element itself. Looks like a common failure in the Freestyle anyway.
