Well my truck had the shakes again yesterday at highway speed. Checked ficm today and it was going between 46.5-48. I think I will replace the batteries since I have 2 different ones in there and they have been know to cause ficm problems.
Yeah it was funny, yesterday Sandy started complaining about how cold it was getting and of course I reminded her it was still MARCH, lol
Yeah it sure doesn't feel like March!

Well that is not good Tom. I hope the batteries fix it. Good thing you still have that old 7.3 handy in case you need it!
Yeah I am not sure why the suposed ford mechanic who owned this truck decided to put in two different batteries. One is a 750cca and the other is a 850cca. I might just switch the ones in the 7.3 to the 6.0. I think they are only about a year old if that.....
There was a tech article in diesel power magazine about ficm and bad batteries over time ruining them because the low voltage going to it.
Yeah I read that article and that is what I am thinking. Its weird, yesterday I took off out of here and it ran fine till I hit the highway and then for about 30 secs if you try to go the truck would just shake. Thought it was an injector but was surprise to find the ficm on the low side. They say low batteries will cause low ficm voltage.

Well I am thinking it could be part of it. Everything states that low batt voltage can cause the ficm to act funny and cause cold start issues. Time will tell....I ran codes and tests the last 3 days and everything was good.....
