Yeah, the pads can actually rust on the rotors where they sit. Then there is a high spot on the rotors.
Sometimes you can do some power braking and clean them up and it'll be fine. Other times you need rotors.

Good point on the power braking. Thankfully 84 whooping horse power can still move plastic...

My brother got back from camping and said the PowerMax turbo is super. He said his truck pulled and wanted to pull more. He could not keep it under 70mph, it did not like to go 65mph, just wanted to go, go, go.

Well if it does need rotors they are fairly cheap anyway.
