Wow- go away for a minute and you guys have been pounding the keyboards !!!
(and some other things it seems like )
How long is that truck, 5er, and quad trailer ?!?!
bet it WAS in two time zones at the same time !
re the last time I was in a tent/pickup truck tent was in the Alborz mountains of Iran when the (then) wife and I took our 4x4 Citroen 2 seater pickup with a 2 cylinder BMW opposed engine to the area they were getting ready to flood for a dam. Absolutely GEE-OR-GEOUS pristine wild country !!!!
Slept in the pickup bed and about 3 am our boston terrier started growling so sat up to shine light out the back and in the pitch black saw three pairs of WILD animal eyes about 3 foot high staring back at me !!!!
started shouting and banging on the side of the pickup while the goosebumps subsided
What we have learned today:
Darren likes beer (and whiskey)
Gavin likes beer
Gig likes wine
John likes budwiser
Fishingnut likes Jack (good man)
and Roy will drink whatever you put in front of him....As long as Darren is Buying ....
All that area is some beauty. Spent alot of time in all those places. And I know you enjoyed the million dollar highway. There is a monument at top. Where a man in a big V plow was trying to open it up and a avalanche took him off to the bottom. I can't remember how many years it took before they finally recovered his body. So they just put that as his burial site. There is no room for errors on that highway.
"Truck Boyfriend" just doen't leave a pretty picture in my mind ........
Me either but we can blame Darren's wife for startin it!
Just like my wifey will say to me "That's a nice outfit you have on" and I have to correct her every time... "Honey they are clothes...women wear outfits!!!" but she still insists on saying it.
