Darren....... The wife has been experiencing a bunch of neck & shoulder & arm pain. Last week an MRI was done. She has screwed-up disks and bone in the neck. Has an appointment with a Neurosurgeon 26 June. I am guessing it is going to be surgery time soon......... This might F**** up our planned week off the end of July. ????
Sorry to hear that Roy.
I also suffer with lower back and neck pain (bone spurs in the neck and degenerative disk disease in the lower back) and will probably need surgery at some point, so I can only imagine what it is like.
Best wishes for a successful operation and speedy recovery!
well the truck got us here...3 hours north of home. We left at 5:30am and are riding with two other families. I guess we lost them! We were waiting for them to catch up when I snapped this pic from the trail. Fun stuff...nothing like wheeling!

Savage,
Nice family photo! You are so right bro, nothing like wheeling! We took the Mt. Antero trail yesterday, the pic is at 12000 ft. It was an awesome view, but the trail is so rocky I think I need a new kidney or two.
Got the new tire installed on the fiver with some help...
Today sucks because it's our last day in CO.
Little man and I went to Fourmile this morning for our last ride and we had a blast!
Now I have to pack up and head for the barn. Two days of SD fun!
You son looks like he is a pro already! Nice pics yourself! It sounds like you had a wonderful time out West. We are counting down the days to our 10 days of paradise!

Back pain is no fun...I have two bulging disks in my lower back that I have been fighting for 2 years. It's no fun. I hope your wife is doing better soon Roy.
Thank you folks for the well wishes...
Another long day on the job in Boise Idaho.
The baby is back in Great Falls MT.... I got a text from her. She misses me too. Smart Truck !! I would have never guessed that she could send a text all by herself
Hi Guys!
Just got back home and the truck was simply awesome.
The whole trip was a little over 3600 miles and I enjoyed every one of them. The wind yesterday in eastern Colorado and western Kansas (eastern Colorado should be part of Kansas) made that part of the drive interesting. When we stopped for fuel in Limon, I got a bottle of PM-22 that was about 1/3rd full out of the pass through in the fiver. I removed the fuel cap, then unscrewed the cap off the bottle of PM-22 and watched the paper gasket in the cap sail out of the cap and directly into my fuel tank. If it were a basketball shot it would have been 'nothing but net'. I didn't have time to say shat. So I dumped in the PM-22 and filled her up. Now that I'm back I may just drop the tank and fish out the gasket. Maybe it's time to install a bigger tank!
BTW - The window in the fiver I mentioned in post #870 (a must read) opened itself again and shreaded another aluminum blind!

Welcome home! Sorry to hear about the paper gasket...it almost seems impossible when you think about it. I hope you have had adequate time to swear about it now. You will likely have another opportunity flushing it out of the tank later. Get that window latch repaired or replaced or use some duct tape to keep that sucker closed.
