Gerry, I'm just glad I'm off tomorrow because if I wasn't, I'd probably call in sick.....not something I make a habit of. Usually, if I feel a little under the weather, I go in anyway and feel better afterward. This is another reason I absolutely detest cold weather, winter, and all of the associated crap. I NEVER get sick during the warm weather. I know part of it is because when the kids are out of school, they're not going back and forth toting all of the other kids' germs with them.
John, sorry your Easter is marred with illness. Here's hoping you bounce back quickly. I get one cold a year and always feel miserable for a few days but I'll take one a year over multiple bouts of crud any day. Nop kids here (all grown and we're retired) but 4 grandkids who bring the occasional bug with them but so far I seem to be immune. Maybe the young bugs don't like my crusty old attitude.
Thanks for the warm welcome Tim. I think I'm going to like it here
He is risen - Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!
Anyway, yup....I have never been sick so many times in one year in my life. I eat Vitamin C tablets daily, eat well, hit the gym four to five times per week, rest pretty well, and all of the other associated "fit & healthy" recommended jazz. This year has been particularly tough on the whole family.
I'm just WAY ready for winter to be over. These guys all know because I've said it countless times....as soon as I retire, I'm southbound....probably Texas, maybe Florida.
@ John, thanks for the kind words. Hope you get well soon. Waiting for good news.
@ Shawn, welcome aboard. He is Risen. Happy Easter. Crusty nature? Have you met Roy yet?
@ Tim, I live at about 45-4600 feet, but according to Wikipedia, Weston is around 3800 feet. It's a small riding area, not very thrilling, but it's close and helps get me tuned up for summer.
@ Gavin, yeah the dad should have had a helmet on the kid. Come on summer. When in June are you going to CO?
@ Andre, still waiting for pics of your new workbench.
@ kper, can't believe how some people treat other people's property. Kudos to you for being a leader. Me and ma almost always wear helmets. Once in a while we break the rules and don't.
