Its not going to matter. Cuz you wont feel the better half when she gets on the work bench. and its a whole lot different working on that kinda work bench. Lol
@Gerry - the wife thought the dogs funny.
@John - she also liked your cartoons. Hope you're feeling better.
@Ron - Buena Vista, the first 2 weeks in June. Melt snow, melt!
@kper & Darren - Happy Easter!
@Savage - OMG, I hope you didn't tell your wife about the "workbench" comment.
@Paul - You'll be much happier with a gasser than a diesel 4 wheeler.
Gavin.ive had many gassers. But I was curious about diesel. But I just dont think I could take a gutless wonder. Im used to ones that will rip it when ya nail it. And everything ive read just dont sound like id be happy with it. So I will start shopping around. I talked to a dealer friend of mine that said I can drive the diesel. But even him said I would probably be dissapointed. So I will see 2 morrow. I appreciate the advice thanks
Personally, I don't see the purpose of a diesel in a four wheeler. For work needs maybe. A UTV would be a practical application for a diesel. For riding and going fast and hill climbing, I would go gasser. As far as brand, there are a lot of great machines out there. We wanted to be able to take our grandkids with us and be safe and have the necessary seating configuration for two. And since we were buying his-n-hers, cost was a factor. We went with the Arctic Cats. So far they have met all our needs. They go faster than I should, they climb steeper than I should, and they go thru a lot of water and mud. We have a blast on them.
My wife's has been wrecked twice now. A little over a year ago my son totaled it. Had to get a whole new frame, plastic, you name it. Last summer, my son-in-law flipped it and dang near totaled it. We fixed it but ma wants a new one anyway. She says, "quit letting those boys ride my machine, they always wreck it." I'm thinkin we'll probably keep hers and just get her a new one.
Oh, I agree, Gerry. She'll probably get her a new wheeler soon. She only has three payments left on her Caddy and the money is already burning a hole in her purse.
My problem is, I found a 2009 Shelby GT 500 Convert. with 21,000 miles. I've been wanting a 'Stanger for quite a while. I'm going to test drive it on Tuesday. Speaking of that, can you tell me how to look up a VIN for the car so I can see all the options on it? I have the VIN.
We are also in the process of buying my daughter out of a loan contract to help her out. And I want to pour concrete in my shop this summer. Gonna be a busy summer.

Sorry Paul, I didn't know you had so many wheelers. I can understand wanting to go all diesel.
I have a 55 gal. drum with a pump just for the tractor, I wish I had a diesel mower too.

She happened to see the dogs and asked what it was. It's pretty safe letting her see our fun threads......well, if Roy is not posting.

Ron...the Shelby sounds so nice. Research it and drive it like you stole it Good luck!
Paul Honduh's are as reliable as they come. I think our 3 would run without oil for months if we'd let 'em. I had two before these and they were equally reliable. The problem is they are relatively boring. They are pure function. If that's what you are after, then go for it. The Yamaha's are little more exciting, but they are lacking in the power department in the big bores. Polaris, Arctic Cat and Can-Am own the big blocks. If you really want a nice all around machine, try a Polaris 850 XP. It really is a great value and has power to spare. There are so many choices...make sure you buy one from a dealer you know you can trust.
