Did some winter training with Canadian forces at Gagetown, NB and Val Cartier, PC. Damn cold.

Back in the early sixties my folks owned a summer home on Lake Elmore VT. Dad was Career Navy, 31.5 years. He was stationed at the Pentagon back then. Later.....'89 - '92 I lived outside Littleton NH. I was stationed in Brunswick Maine '84 - '86
I served 21 years and then decided to try a different part of the country....Montana. Been here for 20 years.

Getting ready to take this great F-350 and a 33ft 5th wheel to Tucson AZ for a week. My son, RoyJr, is graduating from Univ of AZ with a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering.....
Know anywhere I can siphon diesel out of a Tank or..........

Good morning from cold, blustery Vermont where winter hasn't quite quit yet. We live right outside Montpelier in Berlin.

I worked in Maine during HS and got my active duty physical at Brunswick NAS - loved the P3's. Low, slow and and could hang over a target forever.

Let's not ask for a real war so we can team up - I don't like how things are going in Korea. No doubt we'd win it if it came to that but we really don't need another war.

Did 29 years active, reserve and guard. Been retired since 1999. Congrats on Roy Jr. Not sure I'd have the patience to go after a PhD, especially in chemistry but we sure need more folks willing to take on the hard sciences. Good on you and him. My middle daughter just got admitted to practice before the supreme court on Monday. Guess we can both be proud parents.

Good luck siphoning - just don't get caught! I know what you mean but you can't haul that 33 footer with a gas job any where near as comfortably. Can't wait for mine to arrive. Going to be a long month.

A buck on Army Navy? You're on! Though I'm afraid I may be the loser on that one the way the games have gone the last few years.

Howdy gang. 1 more day closer to warmer weather. Yesterday was nice. But I hate my red truck has turned yellow. Again. Bad yellow. I mowed yesterday late.and 2day I think I need Kleenex hooked under my eyes. But rain is in the forecast. Goodie wash that crap away forawhile.

Snow is melting which is good. If this warm weather keeps up though I'll have a lake in my front yard.
