I love the pictures that you all post, gives me a little feeling of home. Every time someone posts pictures of neat places all across the US, I write them down in my "Places to See When I Retire in 3 Years" book.
103 here today but all-in-all not too bad, no sand storms like there was 2 days ago.
Have a safe and wonderful day to you all!
Best Wishes,
Randy
Randy...great to hear from you! How long until you get to return home (if even for a visit)?
Hey there gang...
long time since I've been in here - you guys are holding up your end of the bargain for sure !!!
Great pics of your colorado foray! made me look into where it was and realized there's a LOT of nice places within a days drive from here even with the rv !!!
getting warm (not 103 yet) already here in DFW so just emailed the rv gang to say "GO WEST" !!!
thanks for the idea !
fyi, spent a few years working in Iran and can recall some 110- 117 degree days
-but it was a dry heat as opposed to some buddies down on the persian gulf where it was HOT and HUMID !!!
Great day today. My son had another checkup with his neurologist and everything was GREAT!! Another followup in six months and then a year after that.
Darren, sorry to hear you and your daughter have the crud. I hope you're both better really soon my friend. On another note, the dock looks great and so does the lake!
Roy, great to see you back on here buddy!! I hope everything is going well with you, Theresa, and Lynn!
Gerry, I hope all is well with you and the family.
Andre, it's an atrocity when those cities blow money like that. Someone (or many people) need to lose their jobs over that bunch of crap.
Martin, great to see you in here buddy and that is fantastic mileage!!
I hope all of you have a great day tomorrow. I'll be out of town all day but I'll check in on you guys tomorrow night.
Howdy John........
All is well........Lynn and Theresa are doing well and we all are having fun.
Lynn's help in Tucson was good........now she is home
I'll duck while the rocks fly at me but it was time for a change.
As much as I wanted to get another SD, or Ford for that matter, I just couldn't bring myself to do it right now after the way the whole mess with the truck went down. I'll likely get an older OBS truck at some point, as I've told some of you but for now, this is my new ride and I love it!
I've been looking at them for a while and after driving one, I decided to go ahead and jump into it. Ordered it on May 14th and it showed up yesterday.
Looks like I'm kind of in the same boat as Steve (Sgt93) except he sold his truck whereas mine ended up a little different. So far, it's been outstanding for the 119 miles I've put on it. And it's going to be nice taking it to the beach with the top off.
You guys are the greatest and I really appreciate all of your help and advice dealing with the issues I had with the truck.
I'll still be around but not in an SD, for the time-being anyway. Things may take a different turn after we get a fifth wheel one of these days. Right now though, this fits the bill perfectly.
