This is a great group of guys, you'll enjoy it; and you'll enjoy that new truck even more- CONGRATS!
I get north of the border pretty frequently to a little place we have in Stanhope, PQ. Not as far north as you are but it is a pretty spot. Have to polish my French everytime we head up there though. Hope spring is headed your way soon - it's really just starting here.

First one out was a Can-Am. Note the wee one without a helmet. He was riding on the Can-Am with his daddy.
The corner of my machine is in the bottom right corner, and you can see the drooping winch cable.
Next one was an Arctic Cat whose four wheel drive was broke.

After I landed him, I told him they should be able to extract their buddy who was still out there, by butting his atv up against the tree, and he did, so we left to enjoy our day.

With three on shore, we took off. I figure they could get the last one. I wasn't getting caught by the Forest Service boys. That's mama's silver Arctic Cat in the background.

The numbskull in the white truck was being pulled by the red truck, to no avail, when we left.

Anyway, we had a wonderful day riding and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the trees. Can't wait for warmer weather. We love to go four-wheelin.
Enjoy yourselves this weekend. Happy Easter.

Heres a scenario, the Ford truck with all the family towing a camper with all the gear......... you're 500 miles from home & the Ford breaks down .....what the hell are you supposed to do now........

I just don't know anymore about Ford,I bleed blue just like the rest of you and have had my heart set on a 14' or 15' superduty but the way their treating everyone lately I don't know.I really don't want to switch brands,And if I did I really only have one choice,RAM...I won't even look at a GMC.
Now my rant is over...
Hope everyone has a good Easter,Good luck John with everything and get well soon!

Thanks for the support.

Sorry to hear you have a cold, I hope you feel better soon.
Have a Happy Easter everyone.
If your truck just shuts down while you're driving around 30 MPH in traffic, don't panic......it's supposed to do that.

If I wasn't on call, I'd fix some of my grandma's old homemade elixir....I'd be better by tomorrow.

Happy Easter to you all.

Feel free to drop in here anytime and post up. We're also a support group so if you have any issues, drop in and feel free to share.

Fantastic pics and I've got to say, I'm a little jealous. I'd love to live in a place like that. I've always been a country boy and now that I've lived in town for the past thirteen years, I'm sick. I grew up on eleven isolated acres between two mega-acre farms and it was absolutely the best place on earth to grow up. That's one of my goals within the next couple of years......buying about twenty acres out in the country and building right in the middle of it.
Sorry I haven't posted guys but this cold (if that's what it is) has kicked my tail. I've been eating tylenol and advil like jelly beans, cough medicine and cough drops like crazy, and fighting a fever of 101. Nothing's helping and we're supposed to go about forty miles down to my mom's tomorrow for Easter. Guess I'm going to have to tough it out, suck it up, and pass out when I get home.

On another note, I can't thank you guys enough for all of your support. You're a fantastic group of friends. I hope something sways me into staying with a Ford.....I really do. But I'm not so sure now. Anyhow, I'm going to stop it with the doom and gloom in here. The whole reason I started this thread was to have somewhere to post positive stuff because of all of the doom and gloom elsewhere in here....cough, cough...HPFP...

And like I've said before, I still love my truck.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
The rules are simple; helmets, vehicle operator only and stay out of the creeks (this upsets the EPA).
Plenty of idiots out there with passengers, no helmets and riding in the creeks.
Aside from the helmet rule, wouldn't you think you would want to wear one?
If you smash your head and end up on government heath assistance, I'm going to be unhappy.
Riding is fun though!
