Assuming 3 speed manual column shift, look for it under hood where the shift linkage rods are. Not familiar with anything that new, but definatly a switch somewhere.

Just a little heads up, the last list on the switch was $96.29 (!!)
National Parts Depot sells the "early Bronco" switch that is NOT the exact replacement dispite the correct picture in the catalog. It is a more rugged switch but does not mate with the factory plug connector. You will need to rig something to go between the switches screw on wire lug connectors and the factory plug.
The bracket is simple in design and just "radiator hose clamps" onto the column.
Their switch is about a third of the "correct" switch so if you are not interested in originality that STANDARD autoparts switch may work for you.

thanks for all the help but i now have another problem the connector that is under the tailgate for all the rear lights is there a diagram for how this hooks up?
