Ceramic coated down pipe?

Has anyone ever ceramic coated their down pipe on their truck? Is there any benefit to this at all? I was thinking if it makes sense to ceramic coat the turbo and outlet then why not do the same to the down pipe?

Any input appreciated.

Thanks,
Drake

Just from doing some light reading I have found that coating the downpipe wouldn't do much past keeping under-hood temps down. From what I have read, coating pipes you want to keep heat in (up-pipes) are a better investment. My buddy's dad has every pipe under the hood coated. Sure looks nice, but a waste IMHO.

I have a spare down pipe that I have been thinking about having coated. The only real benefit would be keeping the temps down under the hood. Beyond that its just because you can.
