Hey all,
I just put true dual exhaust on my 2003 F250 V10. I put 2.5in pipe all the way back. There is no y pipe nor cats. It does have a turbo tube on each pipe with a original 40 series muffler. My question is would and x and or h pipe be a good idea? If so which would be better and where should it be placed on the exhaust? Thanks Travis
I would at least make an H pipe to equalize the exhaust gases. An X pipe will flow better but will require more work than an H pipe. Plus you may run into space issues with the X pipe.
Well I would say I would post a vid clip, but I no longer have 40 series mufflers, I have 50's now, and no turbo tubes. I had an H pipe in for about 45 minutes and realized I lost performance so it came back out. So all I have now is true duals with 50 series mufflers. Sounds like a ton of pissed off bumble bee's. I love it though. I won't be changing it for a LONG time.
Man, for a second there I thought you were going to power brake and light 'em up! How about a new video with a good tire roast for the 14 year old kid in me?
