Hey guys. I was in the middle of doing my ICP mod and was curious what this part of the fuel bowl was in the picture. Marked in red. It appears to have a cap or something on it but on my truck it doesn't.
Is that the 10k mod? I didn't have much luck with mine, it just didn't give me enough gain, even trying different resistor combinations. I was talking to Dale Insley at Tymar performance one day when I was having some engine problems, he asked what mods I had, when I mentioned the mod he really sounded off about how bad it was and thought I would be wise (or very stupid) not to get rid of it. One of the main things he said was it would screw with a lot of other stuff and doing scans and other testing would not work well. I took it off after hearing that.
Just FYI I think others have had better luck than I.

I got 2 10K rheostats (sp) and put them in a single gang weather tight receptacle and put "speed connects" on the end of the wires. I drove the dawg poop out of it until I felt my exhaust get WAY TO HOT. I took it out b/c it was just going to get me in trouble...but it worked VERY well. If I find it, I will take a pic and post it.
Here is a pic of the fuel pressure gauge I made up last year, only used it a couple of times but really works nice. It's smooth and locks on so you don't have to hold it.
Another of it in use. I bought the gauge and valve thing at a farm supply for less the $20
I don't know what the thread size is, I am not very good at thread sizes the brass part is part of the gauge. I told the sales guy what I wanted to fit the gauge to a tire valve stem and that's what he came up with. The air chuck is really nice because it locks on to the schrader valve, the chuck may have rubber in it that would deteriorate IDK. The gauge is oil filled if you didn't notice, so it keeps the needle very steady.

Brilliant idea there sir. I am going to steal that! I was gonna hardwire it in, and didn't even think about that option.
