Chip install question

Well this isn't a ordinary question. Just wondering when installing the switch on the dash what it's the best way to remove the black dash cover. Does it just snap in. I have a obs.

There are screws behind the trim on each side of the column. Pop the trim pieces and headlight switch **** using a small screwdriver in the notch in the backside of it. Remove the screws that where behind the trim then the bezel should pop off.

Pop the trim off with a screw driver and there is a couple torx screws behind them. Pull out your headlight switch then turn to the slot and use a small flat head screw driver to push on the little clip and pull **** out at the same time. With a little wiggling the black panal should pop out of the clips.
