Don't mean to hijack but that is good to hear aune I hear they're capping 35s and 37s now so I need to look into it. And of course you can't really beat the price. How does their aggresive tread last on the hwy?

I ran retreads on the dually for a couple years. The day the retread let go, it cost me about $500 in lost income, plus I then had to buy 4 new tires anyway so I had a matched set on the duals. It also took out the mudflap and mounting bracket, and almost took off the filler neck under the bed.

I'll stick to buying new from now on.

BTW, the retread is still here, mounted up, and still holds pressure. It was simply the cap that let go.

Depends on the size rim you have. My truck came stock with 235/85/16's and 6 inch wide steel rims. 265/75/16's are like an inch wider than 235's and should be run on 7 inch wide rims.

Luckily I found a guy selling 7 inch rims at the same time I got the tires so I used those and left the others tires mounted on the 6 inch rims as spares.

There shouldn't be any rubbing issues though as some trucks came with 265/75's.

It will not rub....i have the 265's on the 1990. However, I do know that 315/75/16's will rub, the 1990 came with that size.

This truck will all be original once restored, so for that to be possible, need the factory stock size. Besides, I love tall skinny tires on 4x4 trucks

Now this thing has some character...with it's 235/85's nothing else.....
