marianna, you mentioned they show a load range G tire, where can i find them? i just checked tires.com and all they show are load range E in our size, and i checked goodyear's website, and they don't even mention load ratings.
to be honest, i'd be a little surprised to find them, as most of our rims are rated at 3050lbs and 90PSI.
i would expect to find them in 19.5s
i think you would pay out the a$$ for them. "E"s are $$ enough. honestly, if the e's are not cutting it for you then you need to carry less weight, or get a dully.
yeah, i know i should make my flatbed a dually, i just haven't gotten around to it yet. well ok, actually i should replace it with a diesel truck with a longer flatbed and duals. many times in that poor truck i've driven home with loads that limited me to 35MPH because the tires were swaying too much for me to be willing to drive faster.
for going dually, we have to keep in mind that we're buying 4 tires for that axle, in which case singles that cost 300 each cost less than duals at 200 each.
at least i'm not that abusive in my van... probably because it can't haul much gravel or firewood
These are a pretty aggressive tread and have worked well for me on the little bit of offroading that I do. However, they are loud and whine quite a bit on the highway. Shipping might be a killer depending on where you are. It was quite a bit to Massachusetts and I'm sure Chippenwhales in Hawaii will be hit up pretty bad. I think it was still worth the shipping though, as it still in under what new ones would have been.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Try checking your local craigslist for used tires. I just scored 4 brand new (still had the colored lines on the tread from the factory) Firestone 10 ply E rated tires for $200 from a guy with a hot rod business that just had them laying around from a vehicle he bought to pull an engine out of. I couldn't afford to buy 4 all new tires either, they're flippin expensive
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for a bargain, buying new is great if you can afford it... if not, there's other options out there. Good luck!

marianna, i just went through the entire PDF, and found a number of tires in our size, ALL of which were load range E. then i saw your note to look at page 44, and while they do refer to them up to a G, they don't seem to list them for sale.
