Wow, very thorough work. The guy I drive truck for sometimes has a pair of super duties with pto roll-off setups, and his "baby" is the 99 f450 4wd with the 7.3 and a stick. He loves that truck and won't let anyone else drive it. I get the 04 f550 with the 6.0 and 6spd.

Personally, I won't be surprised at all to see you get 15-20 for the truck. That power train combo has a solid reputation and you're basically making it a new truck.

sweet build man. nice work

I have a couple questions. What did you use to bond the new rockers in? Do you just cut out the old one's?

I used 3m panel bonding adhesive to bond the new rockers on. For cutting them off, I drilled out the spotwelds.

Doors are on and the glass is all in

It is seriously NOT one of my best paint jobs, but it is not a show truck either. But like I said, it is at least body shop quality, if not a lil better. Most body shop focus on production , NOT quality.
Finished the body work and primed the hood and fenders today. Should be able to wet sand and Paint tomorrow. Gotta see If I can find another sound deadner for the hood, mine is ratty

Got the fenders and Hood painted this afternoon. I did get a little carried away with the clear and got a run in edge of the one fender, but It should sand out. But now at least the painting is done.

I have to agree with all nice build quality and detail

I have one question with all your detail what is your reasoning on using helicoil

wouldn't it have been better to go to the next size bigger drill and tap it or use a grade 8 insert

I have so many troubles with helicoil's that we don't have any in our shop

just my .002

nice build
