Those seats look to be to far forward to me... I looked into swapping seats but couldn't find anything that had the same design and dimensions of the stock seats. Meaning they were not able to be as far back as I'd like... But I am 6'1. Even my stock bench barely goes back enough

Does anyone know if a bench seat out of a 1998 Ford F-150 will fit in my 1997 Ford f250hd? I have a bench seat in there now but it’s shot. Just wondering if it would fit.

I'm pretty sure that the mounting points are different. If you're willing to drill holes and perhaps hit things with a hammer, it might work.
anybody have any thoughts on putting 2008 F250 super crew seats in a 1996 F350 super crew?. I found sets from the 2008 and think I might try it. Any tips?

someone on here put king ranch seats out of a Super-duty in their rig & included a good explanation of what mods he needed to do to the seat frames. I recall seeing the photos on here but I can't find the thread.

FYI "SuperCrew" was a term Ford used for a 4 door F-150 with a really small bed (shorter than a 6.5' short box). So if you search by that term you might not have great luck. The F-250 and up 4 doors were called "crew cab"
I'm sure this may have been answered, by I went cross eyed reading the thread.
Anyhow, I have a 2002 F150 XLT (four door extended cab, with short bed). What I want to do is loose the center seat/fold down console, and have that space freed up. It is an automatic, and I want to build/buy a center console to mount radio equipment in.
I'm a GMRS licensee, and working on my ham license. This is the reason I want to do this.
Any advice would be appreciated,
William.
EDIT: It is the off road version, if that changes anything.
Exactly what I was looking for in this entire thread! easy to look at what's under your seat as far as mounting goes.... little tougher to figure out what's underneath a different style that not available to you
Wondering if Anyone has sucessfully pulled off swapping the front seats from an 10th Generation F150 into an OBS truck?
Specifically these '01-'03 seats?
I've drive a couple '02 trucks with these and they're the most comfortable truck seats I've ever sat in. I might be picking up a '97 F250HD extended cab that has the 60/40 bench but would like to do a seat swap with the later seats if possible.
