I had a F5 installed this fall before I left for Fl. I have the no start stock 8E 60T and 40T . When leaving NC I have a pretty long and steep climb out. I had it in 60T but I noticed the EGT's seemed a little high on some of the smaller grades so I switched to 40T over the hump and EGT was great and plenty of power.I am draggin a 34 ft Fiver at about 13k. Tried the 80E when towing the flats of Fl but it seemed to like the 60T the best. I try to use the 80E but the shifting is way to harsh for me and the OD does not come in till 48mph. The stock shift is much smoother and the OD is in at 40mph which is much better for town driving. Gonna find out if I can get the 80E with the stock shift pattern. Then I be happy man!!

Thanks for getting this started. You are where I hope to be next month, just looking at the options for programs. Will probably do the F5 also, too many other things to buy!
I am towing a 12k 5vr, and will be in Colorado this summer. A good test.
I like my Glow shifts and Tru Cool.
