Help with Tuner decision

OK, selling one of my guns tomorrow for $400 and guess where that $ is going!

OK, i'm getting a DP F5 and wonder what you all think about the tunes i'm picking for my needs.
I'm NOT getting drive thru since I recently found out it doesn't work on a cold start at 6am in a campground to go steelhead fishing, only works on a warm motor, so scratch.
I don't care to get any race tunes, so scratch.

Anyone with any input for my needs or their experiences would be appreciated. What I plan to do is mostly drive unloaded and tow my 6k TT 10-15 times a year with a little mountain driving over the Cascades.

Here's what i'm thinking........

0-No Start
1-Stock
2-80 Eco
3-80 Tow
4-Decel

So 90% of the time i'll be in eco 80, stock for snow, 80 for towing and decel for coming down the mountain.
Do these seem right? Or, is decel not worth $50? Eco 60 drives nicer? Tow 60 tows nicer or much cooler, better shifts or such?
Another thing i'd like to add is i'm not wanting a bunch of tunes, just a few to keep it simple and the cost down. With the 3 tunes and the F5 with the switcher, i'm looking at exactly $400, what i'm selling my gun for.
Thanks for any input.

Mit want to get 40T or 60T to cool down the EGT's when they climb. I like the 60E for around town. Pedal isn't so touchy. 80E on the freeway here in CA. I also get my best MPG in the 80e on the freeway.

I would say a lower HP tow, and maybe a high idle. Cooler(or Warmer) creature temps, and EGT's down while towing.

I run my 80 Eco all day, everyday
I still would recommend the drive thru, i don't have it and want it
I always have to turn my truck off at speaker to talk/hear cashier
BUY the F6, not F5, easier to update new/different perfomance tunes
I am running the F5 am ready to trade it in!

So you really like the 80 eco, not too touchy?

I really don't want both eco's if possible. How touchy is 80e?

So would a 60 T get me plenty of power and better shifting along with lower egt's than an 80t?

Theoretically yes, I have not personally ran Jody's towing tunes though to know. With gauges you just need to find out what you need to do.

I here ya. I was thinking maybe 60T since it is rated for 9-13k towing which would give me room to upgrade to a heavier toy. The 80T is rated for 5-9k.
Now that I think about it, is that truck weight too? I guess I should call DP or if anyone knows for sure.

Pretty sure it would be what you are towing, I just think it would be for nice flat land towing, just as an 80T would be fine towing flat, in the hills, it would raise the EGT's a little quicker, hypothetically.

Agreed. Maybe a 60T is the way to go or even 40T? I just want a little more power and better shifting. Thanks for your input. Reps sent.

I've tryed 40T and 60T with a 30' toy hauler loaded and the 40T gives you all the power you need. I had to back off because of EGT's. I had stock exhaust at that time and haven't towed it since 4" back yet.

OK, so you would recommend the 40T. Is there much difference in power really or shifting? Or, just slight power gain and same shifting along with higher egts? I really appreciate the input. Getting ready to order tomorrow.

How is the 80E Nice all around driving , not too touchy?
Also, how do you like your glowshifts? Mine are being installed at the moment.
