If there is a OBS 4x4 dually doesn't that mean that it either started life as a cab/chassis truck or has been converted? Also is a d 60 from under a cab/chassis truck the same as d60s from single wheel 350s?
I was looking for a KP and couldn't find one so I gave up and bought a BJ. A few weeks later I found the KP and bought it and then sold the 1st one. Mine come out of an 86 DRW
The axle I got came out of a snowplow/saltshaker truck from Massachusetts and I wanted it bad enough that I had it shipped to Arizona. D60's are almost non existent in Az because the rockcrawlers all grab them up for their truggies. Even after 20 years of abuse the kingpins were in good enough shape I could have used them for a few more years. It took a few months but before I put it under the truck everything on the axle except the R&P was replaced with new parts. One of the nice things about a KP is the ease of alignment. Castor and camber are fixed and the toe is easy to set with a set of trammel points or even a tape measure.. I aligned it 6 years ago and it hasnt changed. Never had a problem with slide pin calipers and I didnt notice any difference between the slide pin brakes and the bolt ons that were on the D50.

ford never offered a 4wd dually "pickup" until the superduty era.
if you see a 4wd dually with a pickup bed,it's a conversion one way or the other (be it a bed set on the c&c or a 4wd pickup drw convert.)
the front D60 axle (comparing the same years) between the srw and drw,is the same axle.the interchangeable hubs are the difference.
