I wonder if Sunline Fan would know, since he just pulled one from the rollover Ex he bought.

Yup, the rear cupholder thing just pulls right out, no fasteners holding it down. It kinda just snaps in. Grab it and pull up/out. Then you'll be left with the entire plug and rear radio controls right in front of you there.

If you don't see anything wrong with the wiring there, then you'll have to pull the whole console out. I think four screws in the bottom of the inside, under the mat. So you'll have to empty it, pull the mat up, and then pull the screws out. Once you do, lift up the console and the plug will be underneath. If you unplug that, the whole console can come out.

Hopefully it's just someone was pissed at their kids for messing with the radio controls, so they unplugged it.

X2...don't do like I did and remove both front seats and the lid and the sides just to find out it pops straight up. LOTS of room in there too. I'm thinking of a mod to put a relay in so I can set it to be "key only" vs. always hot.

I knew there was something I was forgetting to do on mine. Well something cheap and hopefully easy. No power there for me either. If I get to it before an update here, will let you know how it comes out.

Great idea...avoids a dead battery if kids leave their crap plugged in while you're sight seeing!

Although I agree, there are always times when I like being able to
charge the cell phone w/o having the key on.

Having some on all the time makes sense, but the rear ones - the ones you don't see from the driver seat and can easily forget about having something plugged into them - doesn't make sense.

I'm thinking of adding relays and "on-off-on" switches at each one in the back...so you can set each one to be auto, off or on with key.

I figured out my issues today. Fuses were blown for both the center console and 3rd seat power points. After a bit of hunting in the owner's manual, found them in the fuse box under the hood. Fuse 7 for the center, and fuse 9 for the 3rd seat. All 20A rated.

I did find some treasures under the cupholder, an old crusty fork, a BK toy, and various papers from the previous owner. Glad I saw this thread, didn't realize how easy it was to get the cupholder off.

So now this begs the question...have you swapped the front console cup holders for the deeper ones?

I did the mod on the front last summer, right after I spilled my first drink. (which doesn't take much with the old ones)

This was the rear cupholders I took out to look at the power port wiring.
