Aviator ABS sensor test procedure
Bought an '04 Aviator 2wd on Saturday. ABS light is on almost all of the time, but it has turned off a few times.
Pulled a C1155 code. I removed the left front sensor, and there was no dirt, metal, debris, etc in the hole. Before I buy a new sensor, is there a test procedure to follow on the old sensor??

When you start the motor, the computer runs a continuity test to see if all the wires are connected. AFter your moving the computer checks that sensors all read "about" the same speed. If the light is on at idle, you sensor is broke. If the light comes on while driving, it may be weak or not setting square in the hole, or too far away from the teeth... I bet weak.
