door pressure switch?

door pressure switch?

My wifes 03 eb expo is saying the door is ajar on the drivers side even though the door is closed. When she turns the ignition off and opens the door, the radio stays on. Is there a pressure switch in the door that needs to be replaced?

The door switch is built into the door latch. This is a common problem which is usually resolved by spraying a liberal amount of WD-40 into the latch.
