door ajar
My 98 F150 supercab with third door on passenger side thinks that the passenger door is ajar, leaving dome lights on all the time when parked. Where is the sensor, and how do I get to it. Presently I have the dome light relay pulled. Thanks dorgan

Hi, The door ajar switch is at the door latch assembly inside the door. A quick fix is to spray WD40 or similar spray on the door latch. Coat it good(so the lube will get to the door ajar switch. Take a hammer and tap the door at the door latch. This should pop loose the door switch. If not you would have to take the door panel off and replace the switch. Hope this helps
