Having problems with my 00 7.3L

I have a 2000 Ford F250 ext cab long box 4x4 and im having some mechanical difficulties and i was hoping this forum could point me in the right direction. First thing first, fix the problem i dont know what it is. My service engine soon light stays on and it sputters as i am accellerating and when i hit 40mph and it goes into overdrive it runs extremely rough and almost feels like im driving over train tracks. It is especially worse in 4x4. My truck has 251k, custom huckstorf stg 6 tranny, 4in turbo back exhaust, ts 6-pos chip. When i turn the chip up it doesnt run as rough accellerating but at 40mph it runs rougher. I heard somethings about IBN or IBM censors under the valve covers, if thats what you think it is, can someone give me step by step instructions on how to get at it? The other problem i have is i need to change all the front seals. Timing case seal, wear seal... ect ect. It is leaking quite a bit of oil from the front end. I just need to know how to change all those seals in the front. I bought the a timing case seal set that came with like 8 different seals that need to be changed. Can someone please get me step by step instructions on how to change the front seals? The seal set i purchased was a timing cover seal set. I dont have the box with all the names off hand. Thank you for reading my post.

Running like it's missing? It would help if you could get the codes. From what you describe, it sounds like the UCVH to me.

Under valve cover harnesses... sounds alot like it. That or maybe a stuck injector pressure regulator, but I'm not aware of that throwing a code except when under acceleration. Camshaft position sensor could cause it to stutter but I've never heard of it throwing a light either. Definitely check out the harnesses.

Well i took it to huckstorf diesel, a very well know disel performance shop in my area, they are also the ones who did all the work on my truck when we had money to do it. He was going to charge me $20 for the scan and $125 for an hour of diagnostics testing. After he found out i had always takin in there for all upgrades he scanned it for free and dropped $45 off the Diagnostics. To my suprise i pulled 3 codes. First was P1316 which was a given. Its the injection module issue code. I had a air temp intake code and a cylinder 2 injector code. This was all i needed to know. I knew the problem was on the drivers side of the motor. In 45mins me and a friend had everything that needed to be apart and the valve cover open. Go figure the UVCH was not completely plugged in. Thanks to the 25 cent fix. My truck now runs great. Thank you everyone for all your help and saving me a bunch of money.

Glad you got it fixed man!

Probably want to do the other side, too, BEFORE it falls out!
