Question Front seal leaking

I have 96' F-250 PSD 4x4, manual tranny. My front seal is leaking oil ( just enough to leave drops on the ground and make a little puddle where I park). My question is how easy is it to change this seal? Is it just pull the harmonic balancer and pop out the seal on the timing cover (not sure if that is correct name)and pop in a new one? or is there more to it.

The next thing behind the balancer is the low pressure oil pump. But you are right, it's the timing cover. The pump rides on the outside of it. So you may just be able to pull the balancer and put a new seal on the oil pump. That would be a pretty easy job..

.......But wait, there may just be a seal on the crank shaft you can change too. Either way, it should be easy.

Its not just a seal replacement.
The seal will come with a new wear ring.
The wear ring is pressed onto the balancer.
