Steering Wheel Removal

Just wondering how may have installed a new clock spring? Im currently in the process of doing this to one of are trucks, for the reason beeing the horn doesnt work, no speed control. I have another thread about this but no one seemd to repond. I have power to the back of the wheel, then no power after the clock spring. Any thoughts? I am taking it apart now, but wanna make sure as its a $116 from Sharp Parts.

It was the clock spring bent in half. So Thanks again

Does anyone have a vid of how to install the clock spring? I dont wanna eff it up

I need to do the same job. The clock spring is on its way via ebay. I found a thread either here or diesel stop that had all the steps listed, but no video. I'll try to find it...

Yeah It wasnt to bad at all. Very easy, JUST MAKE SURE YOU UNDO BATTERYS before the fixn begings. And wait about 15 min to make sure completly dead

That's good to hear. Did you have to use a harmonic balancer type puller, or did the wheel slide off easily?

Man...you and I must be on the same page. Turbo removal last week...check. Steering wheel R&R this week...check. Did you happen to do anything with your radio or a tire rotation.
