I need to replace my clock spring for my 94 E150 Van so I took out the airbag assembly and now I don't know how to take out the clock spring, can anyone help?
Yea I have been there already but it doesnt tell me how to take out the clock spring itself. It shows how to take out the steering wheel and the airbag module.. thats it.
Hmm. I had the one out of my '91 a few months back, but I can't remember how I did it. I think it was held in by three screws, but maybe yours is different. Nice thing about this forum, if you wait a bit, someone will come along that has a truck just like yours and they'll tell you just how to do it. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
Heres what has been bothering me. All along I thought the clockspring was IN the airbag module, thats why I didn't know how to take it out and I was always asking why should I take the steering wheel out in the first place. But I looked and I looked more and finally found out that the spring is BEHIND the steering wheel. Thanks for your input.
