DID YOU READ THE LINK TO THE TSB?
Ford Motor Company has got it's panties all in a twist about it's publications.
The TSB USED to be available on this site.
But now you have to check THIS POST that I linked and mentioned in post 40 of this thread.
There are 10 pages to the TSB.
Pictures at the end, pgs 7,8 & 9.
Or here: http://www.thedieselstop.com/faq/949...les/970310.pdf
(until it gets found out and taken down too!)

I have a terrible creaking noise in the front end of the truck. It only happens when turning and the truck is on the ground. I have tried tracking this darn noise down but it seems impossible. It almost sounds like a metal on metal noise yet I cant find anything involved with the steering to cause the noise. It's like a creaking/clunking sound with some ticking like it gets snagged on something.
Has this happened to anyone else? I've heard a few local truck with the same noise but they cant figure it out either and neither can the shop. The noise is frustrating as hell
