I have a 1995 Ford f150 302 2 wheel drive
the front end has new tires, shocks, alignment
radius arm bushings. I have checked tie rod ends
and the ball joints. I still have a lot of front end
noise, more so on the right side but its enough to
drive you crazy. It all seems tight. Is this standard
for this truck ?
Noise comes from looseness - if it "seems tight", check something else. My front end noises turned out to be loose U-bolts on the REAR springs, so look all over. Especially, the axle pivot bolts & the u-joints.
I've always found that to be from worn tie-rod ends. Firestone will check them free, and once you replace any worn parts, they'll align it for ~$100 for life.
