Rail Filter Leak

I had a service done about 200 miles ago that included fuel filters. This weekend I drained the rail filter and fuel came out around the handle as well as the drain tube. It is going back to the dealer. Could this be covered under 5/100 warranty if work is needed? As finicky as these fuel systems are is it possible I could have future problems? Since the service the truck mostly sits in the garage because I now have a gas sipper to drive. Thanks

It might be covered under the 36/36. Don't know otherwise.

Update - dealer said o rings around valve handle were bad. They said it happens with the winter blend fuel sometimes. Not sure if it makes sense but a heads up for anybody that has the same problem.

I recently had the same problem with my truck. The dealer replaced the whole rail filter assembly. I was just inside my 3/36 warranty.
BTW - I'm not really new here, moved with new e-mail address and couldn't access my account any longer.
