2006 250 trans trouble
hello all as it says i have a 06 f-250 with the 6.0 auto trans, I noticed the other day when i took off with the truck cold the trans. slipped going into 4th. It shifts perfect if its warm no problems at all. Then today i took off again cold and it didnt want to shift then slipped badly i let off gas it shifted but would not go into overdrive, the tow/haul light on dash was flashing so i pulled over shut truck down for a minute started it back up and it shifted again no problems at all. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on with this thing it has 79k miles on it. Please and thanks all

if its a 6.0, anything but an sct tuner can be hard on the tranny, but i dnt think its that. i wouldnt run that tuner tho.

im gonna put it back to stock tomorrow and see what happens, i had the bully dog on my last one and had no issues at all with it though.
