hello all as it says i have a 06 f-250 with the 6.0 auto trans, I noticed the other day when i took off with the truck cold the trans. slipped going into 4th. It shifts perfect if its warm no problems at all. Then today i took off again cold and it didnt want to shift then slipped badly i let off gas it shifted but would not go into overdrive, the tow/haul light on dash was flashing so i pulled over shut truck down for a minute started it back up and it shifted again no problems at all. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on with this thing it has 79k miles on it. Please and thanks all
are u running any tuner?? i have heard of one of the sensors in it going bad and the tow/haul light flashing. also, how long since last service?? hopefully MK will see this and comment.
The flashing tow/haul means a transmission code has been stored. You need that code to determine what's wrong. The places that read codes free can't read those codes.
