The oil was coming out no where near the oil filter so that is out of the question. I did see that much. I am thinking that maybe a cracked oil press sending unit or valve cover gasket that blew out completely. The tractor is like 30 yrs old.

Edit: No loud noises before so I don't think it is too major and was running fine when I shut it off.

Weird. Could very well be a pressure sending unit or VC gasket.

Should we send Michael up there to fix it if it is a VC gasket??? Maybe he can get that one right....................

On another note I picked up another used laptop today. The guy said it didn't work. I offered him $50 for it and I bought a new power adapter and it turned on. He said the HDD might be sketchy. Oh well. Looks like a nice 17" HP machine with Vista Home Premium 64-bit and an Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 2Ghz and 4GB of RAM. Sweet.
