Not sure if you have tried this but in photobucket if you hold the pointer over the picture it should show like 4 different links, click on the one for img and paste it here. It should show the picture in your post. Unless you don't want the picture in your post

Speaking of 3, has anyone heard from Lee lately?
So what stuff should I use then? I tried Grey RTV, but it failed miserably. It didn't cure and made a huge mess.

I have always used the black stuff with with good luck. How long are you letting it dry for before driving and what temp is it when you are letting it dry? Probably needs to dry at like 60* or so for at least 24 hours before driving and longer if it isn't that warm for the whole time it is drying especially if it is fairly thick.

I am not sure what the differences may be but I would use the red but you may need to read the labels. I would think you want something that sets up firm. Dave or Mike may have a better answer than me.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

It was over 24 hours, but it was in my unheated garage and cold outside.

I'll have to look at doing this in the spring or see if I can find a weekend that I can leave it in my Dad's garage to dry.

On a positive note, I did get the truck started this morning. I was able to get it into the garage where I can replace the GPs when I get some time. Speaking of time ... it seems to be as elusive as the money tree these days around here.

Yeah in that cold of environment I would say that is where your trouble is.

Glad it started for you and at least in where you can work on it now when you have time.

Hey guys.

I got that crappy van outta my garage and my truck back in. I looked into my furnace (garage) and it seems I need a valve. It was sooting up and tripping the flame rollout switch. I only have 6" or so of W.C. Des' uncle came over and we determined the valve is shot. I found a valve on Ebay for $51.69 or B/O. I offered $45.00, so we will see. Otherwise I will just buy it.
