Finally got both my steps installed. Once I remembered they are there and quit tripping over them on the way out of the truck it's not bad, I even use them getting in to help wear on the seat and the crotch of my jeans lol.
In 6'6" 300lbs and I can bounce on them and nice n sturdy!!
Mounting on the passenger side I cut some 3/8" Jose to cover the fuel return line where it meets the bracket.
It is spaced out about an inch from the frame in the front mount (I didnt realize the frame has a taper to it.)which works perfectly to go over the fuel line.
Thanks!
I'm thinkin there might be a flatbed in the future for this truck as I just picked up a 2012 Polaris RZR 800. Will see how it fits In th truck as it is now first tho
Normal here is mid 20's for summer few days a year we get the 30's. Hell it was still dropping to 15 at night last week. The weather here is retarted lol
I love project midnight updates. 2 questions: now that you have the bed off can you take a few photos of the crossmembers under and from top. I am wondering if it is worth it to take my bed off and treat mine, but not knowing the condition of the tops It's hard to decide, the bottoms look kind of crappy but if yours do to and it is just some bottom rust I might not bother. second question: does that trailer have ramps or a beavertail?
