midnight you downgraded from xlt chrome front end to xl/custom.
that's just wrong lol.

The xl front end is grey... Mine is black lol

To keep with the trend I thought the chrome mirrors looked odd so I painted them black too.
Next is to get a can of bed liner and coat the checker plate bedrails and tailgate cap.


Once I get the bodywork done its all going black

i like it imo gloss black is sharper then chrome on the right truck.

i cant wait to see the rest of her painted shes gunna be a sexy beast. is that scoop functional ram air or mostly cosmetic? are your bead locks simulated? im not hating i think your trucks sharp.

Thanks. It's comming along. No the scoop isn't functionalhasa solid front atually (I'll post a better pic)
And the rims aren't real beaocks that's just the trim around the outside. I wish j would have put more time into cleaning/prepping the wheels and had them powder coated theyre starting to show rust in the beadlock ring.
Here's the scoop. I painted the stainlessinsert black in the second pic it's kinda hard to see in the pic

i think i might try and build something like this one for a front bumper once the bodylift goes in.

the drivers headlight trim was broken and there was a couple cracks in the chrome grille. wouldn't be worth the shipping cost. i think i paid $40 at pick n pull for all three pieces that i painted black

there is a screw in the passenger side trim in the top corner and the "chrome is starting to peel. i think i might have tossed it when i put these ones on.


no updates yet. havent had tome to do anything to it. today was my first day off in the last couple weeks. im hoping to bring it to work and install the bodylift next weekend but will see how that goes
