Hey guys so transmission has been working ok at the most for a while but yesterday really started to act up. Ran the codes so here they are 26 and 29.
I know that 29 is the VSS but that was recently replaced when took to the local tranny shop. 26 i read is for the TOT transmission operating temperature? what to do now?
I have no idea man. But maybe one of the e4od gurus will check today. But with it being new years eve ..... maybe a day or 2 so hold on if you can. Not everyone out there is like me and just hangs at home on this day lol.
i would start by cleaning the pcm and solenoid pack connectors followed by closely inspecting the wires running to the vss,and the solenoid pack plug and wiring while you have it removed for cleaning/greasing.
No it wasn't at operating temp. Could that be why it showed up? At one point I checked the codes but didn't have paper around and I think code 23 popped up which I think is the BAP sensor but it hasn't showed up anymore. Ill check the vss wires and grease the connections.
